According to (via Reuters), the car's designer Kerry Kirwan said that the 2.0-liter BMW engine has been converted over to diesel and configured to run on a fuel comprised of waste from chocolate factories or other plant-based oils. Blogger was on a United Airlines flight between New York and San Francisco, using the airplane's built-in WiFi, when a flight attendant forced him to terminate a video chat with his children and deemed it «illegal.»
The reasoning wasn't because Battelle was disturbing other passengers--he was somewhat quiet using Bose headphones, his Macbook's built-in microphone, and the iChat client.
